ScreenSkills, the industry-led skills body for the UK’s screen industries, is offering an amazing opportunity to UK Armed Forces veterans with technical, mechanical or engineering skills. This programme, in association with The National Film and Television School and Services to Film is supported by ScreenSkills using National Lottery funds awarded by the BFI as part of the Future Film Skills programme.

‘A Day in the Life of….’ offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes insight into the work of the Locations Department, which helps to find, contract and manage film locations during filming.

After the taster day, attendees will be invited to apply for one of 8 places on a 3-week locations training course that includes one-to-one support to secure employment or work experience in the industry.

Training will take place at NFTS in Beaconsfield in Jan/Feb 2020.
