Veterans can reclaim £1000s in travel claims

Over the last four years, if you’ve travelled home while you were deployed for active duty, you could be entitled to reclaim thousands of pounds in travel tax. You’re eligible if you’re Armed Forces and MoD personnel with postings of under 24 months, in the UK or abroad.

You can make a claim for using both your own vehicle and public transport. Some veterans have claimed up to £2,500 for the past four years.
