The course provides advice on debt, budgeting and managing your money. And it offers you the opportunity to build a toolkit of financial support, resources and healthy habits when it comes to spending, saving and planning for your future.

The content has been developed in collaboration with partners from  St James’s Place and is co-delivered by veteran and family Peer Support Trainers with lived experience.

This ensures that the learning environment is one of mutual support.

On attendee shared their experiences of attending the course:

Finance and debt can be a very emotive subject. The facilitators kept things simple and easy to understand with time to ask questions. The course is very useful, no matter what your situation is. The facilitators were so knowledgeable and shared some of their own challenges. A great course, I have gained so much from attending.

And another said:

This is an excellent course; even if an individual feels they have a good understanding of personal financial wellbeing, it is so full of content you will learn something. It was delivered in an exceptionally friendly and non-judgemental manner, so all participants felt at ease imparting their own financial issues and concerns.
